The BBC: Framing the Narrative in the Tories Favour
I just had to share this tweet from Robyn Vinter which takes a screen grab of how the BBC have decided to report the local election results today.
https://twitter.com/RobynVinter/status/1124244236319297537
As you can see, they've chosen to go with 'Where the Conservatives lost and won' before reporting gains of 19 and losses of 69.
But when it comes to reporting Labour's gains of 32 and losses of 37, they've opted for 'Labour lose dozens of seats'
As Vinter suggests with such clear misrepresentation is it any wonder that people believe the BBC to be biased with their news and politics reportage?
Let's be clear; the Tories have lost almost 500 councillors, and the full result isn't even in yet. So why are the BBC so determined to claim that it is Labour - who are on course for a significant national lead - who are the losers?
Undoubtedly the narrative from the MSM is going to blame Corbyn for not making greater gains, but the simple fact of the matter is that Labour's membership is deeply divided on Brexit, a dangerous farce that is (and this isn't stated enough) wholly of the Tories making. With many traditional Labour strongholds in favour of leaving the EU and many more liberal, metropolitan Labour areas vehemently against, the party is stuck between a rock and a hard place in which they will obviously disappoint one or the other. That's what we are seeing here for sure, but what we are most definitely seeing is a complete dissatisfaction with the government for getting us into this mess in the first place.
As is often the case, Owen Jones hits the nail on the head.

Our Contemptible Government
This week, Theresa May the cunt and her cabinet of little cunts became the first in history to be found in contempt of parliament for refusing to publish legal advice pertaining to Brexit. Whilst Paris erupts with the yellow vest protests, the UK seems to meekly shrug and accept this disgusting antics of its government. Why is that?
I mean, I get that we are all sick to death of hearing about Brexit, I honestly do. I am too, but the fact remains that, even if you are happy to accept a government so corrupt as to become the first to openly show contempt for the democratic process of parliament, are you really happy to sit back and accept all the other times Mrs May's government have shown their contempt for this country and its citizens?
What about the contempt they have shown for the UN, rejecting their damning report on the austerity measures the government have needlessly put in force since 2010? Their actions have increased homelessness, child poverty, food bank usage and suicide. Why do we think we can afford to let this continue?
What about the contempt this government has shown towards the Windrush generation? A blatant example of institutionalised racism that they attempted to pass the buck by spurring their right wing press baron acolytes into action with a series of 'Labour are anti-semitic' non-stories.
What about the contempt they hold for the environment, continuing to push fracking in areas that had democratically opposed the introduction of such a dangerous and untested process?
What about the contempt they show for the disabled and the unemployed with their continued pursuit of Universal Credit, despite the facts that the new benefit is harming people and simply isn't working?
And these are just the examples that are still happening. What about those examples of contempt they've shown that were mercifully challenged, such as their defeat in the Supreme Court to sideline parliament and due democratic process to get their Brexit deal passed unchallenged? Their benefit cap which was defeated in court because it impoverished single-parent families for no good reason? Their policy of free labour for Workfare, also defeated by the courts? Their plan to shut down Lewisham hospital, again defeated in court? And their attempts to challenge the condemnation of their track record with air pollution in court for a total of three times, the result of which was £500,000 of public money wasted in their defence?
They may look like it, they may even act like it, but this Conservative government is not a joke. They are corrupt, dishonest, barbaric and cruel and their only desire is to serve their own self interests. The joke is on us, because we sit back and let them do it to us.
But, if May's Brexit deal is voted down on Tuesday, we could see a vote of no confidence in the house. If that follows, she has just 14 days to form a new government before parliament is dissolved and a general election is triggered. We need to do all we can to say that 2018 is the end of May. 2019 needs to be the year of Corbyn and a government who genuinely want to heal and improve society. Please, do what you personally can; if there is a demo or march near you, go to it. Sign petitions and write to your MP. Join the opposition and turn up at you local branch office and ask what you can personally do. Join Momentum or make a donation to them to prepare them for the likelihood of a general election in the new year. But above all, when (not if) there is a GE, vote. Vote for Labour and make a difference, because remember this - after 18 months of Macron's centrist policies that have attacked the living standards of the French, the people have risen up in protest. In just eighteen months. The Conservatives have been doing the same thing to us for eight years. And we have re-elected them for it twice. Never again, please. Never again.

The 'Brexit Dividend': The Curious Timing That Means We Should Beware Tories Bearing Gifts
We're hearing a lot from government this week about a so-called 'Brexit dividend' that will go to the NHS.
What we're not hearing however is that this extra £20bn won't even begin to cover the cuts to the NHS that the Tories have overseen these last 8 years. That an increase of NHS spending to 3.4% is nothing like the 4%+ increase that the think tanks have calculated and have been campaigning for.
We're also not hearing anything about the timing of Theresa May's pledge. If Brexit falls apart for this government, May will be forced to go to the country once more in the oft-rumoured snap election pencilled in for the autumn. With that in mind, this extra £20bn sounds increasingly like a sop to the electorate in the hope that they'll forget all the Tories failings and vote for them once more. Beware Greeks bearing gifts...or should that be Tories? Timing is everything, clearly.
So don't fall for their bribes and lies! It's all very well saying Brexit will allow us to spend more on the NHS (and we all know we've heard that before, or rather we've seen it before; a lie writ large on the side of a bus!) but if Brexit ensures that we can no longer employ the migrant workforce that keeps the NHS alive, how can the service ever truly improve?

Every Loser Wins: The Fake News Around The Election
The BBC today have widely announced that Labour had a 'disappointing' local election yesterday. Their 1 o'clock news bulletin, read by Kate Silverton, reported that Labour didn't win any of their target seats...which is strange, considering that my local news bulletin which immediately followed Silverton's rundown, announced that Labour did indeed take Trafford - a key seat that was on a knife edge here in the North West. Labour securing Trafford means that the whole of Greater Manchester is now Labour run. Labour even gained Plymouth too; another key seat. So why have the BBC's national news been making out that Labour - and particularly Jeremy Corbyn - lost yesterday?
In fact, Labour have seen their councillors increase by 3%. That's a net gain of 55 councillors compared to the Tories net gain of just one seat. The truth is this was a very poor turn out for the Tories, comparable to 2014's election which saw the Torygraph demand that the then PM, David Cameron, assuage the voters rage. Once again, the MSM have given Theresa May's noxious austerity-driven, racist government a free pass. If this government were a person, it would be on life support and everyone would be trying to make out it was fit and healthy, despite the obvious truth staring you in the face. In fact, when it comes to the Tories and the MSM trying to kid us everything is OK, I'm reminded of this classic scene
I'm not saying this was an incredible victory for Labour, after all even Jeremy Corbyn called some of the results 'disappointing'. Much is being made here in the north about Pendle, a skin of the teeth triumph for the Tories that sees them take control of a council that has, for almost 40 years, been Labour run. But the councillor the Tories put up here has previously been suspended from the party for racism, so you really have to ask yourself what kind of party allows such a person to remain in their ranks. I've heard this make the news on local TV, but it hasn't seemed to reach down to London for the national broadcasts, who prefer to spin the Blairite lie that the only racism in politics is the alleged anti-Semitism problem within the Labour party. A scandal that has been manipulated and fueled by those 'Red Tory' MP's who wish to overthrow Corbyn.
Whatever you do today, please do not take the MSM's reportage at face value because they're only telling you what the government want you to hear. Theresa May can say Labour have lost until she's blue in the face (which would be quite nice for her I'm sure) but the fact is Labour performed incredibly well. They manage to achieve what they have achieved in the face of a complete collapse of the UKIP vote - a vote which was widely predicted as being taken up by the Tories. These 100 net losses for UKIP has not transferred over to the Tories, they helped boost Labour and even the Lib Dems.
But let's not be too hard on May's chief propagandists at Auntie Beeb. They're not placing it front and centre in their reports, but their digest of these results have shown an interesting projection if this were a general election

Meet The Old Boss, Same As The New Boss
So Amber Rudd has finally gone after 'inadvertently misleading' to parliament (that's lying to you and me) and Sajid Javid is her replacement as Home Secretary.
Smug Karl Pilkington roundhead-alike Javid claims he will be a break from the past. But how can you really be a break from the past when your voting record shows you have consistently voted in favour of this disgusting hostile environment agenda? And is a man who called Jewish Labour activist Jon Lansman a 'neo fascist' in the House really the right man for issues relating to immigration?
Javid's move to the post of Home Secretary is a blindingly obvious one from the Tories. Horrified that their inherent racism has come to the fore, they've promoted their pet 'brown face' in an attempt to prove they are anything but racist.
Javid may bang on about how horrified he was by the hostile environment and the terminology itself, and how he felt that, as the son of immigrants, it could have been his own family being asked to leave the country they have contributed so much to, but it's all just lip service and empty platitudes.
Nothing will change for anyone until the architect of this disgusting intolerable policy, the former Home Secretary Theresa May, is ousted from Number 10 and her whole rancid party is forced into opposition.
This Thursday (3rd May) is the day of local elections across the country. Please vote for Labour and deal a devastating blow to the Tory government that tells them their days are numbered.

Tories Love To Smear Labour as Anti-Semitic, But They Should Look at Their Own Party
This brouhaha over alleged anti-Semitism in the Labour Party (conveniently raised ahead of May's local election to discredit Corbyn and dint his support) has, unsurprisingly, been a boon to the Tory Party who once again are trying to paint themselves as the nice guys and the Left as the real 'Nasty Party'
But if the Tories really are serious about being nice and finding the notion of anti-Semitism and racist prejudice so abhorrent then why do they insist on keeping so many homophobic, racist, sexist and Sectarian councillors and MP's in their party?
How's this for a rogue's gallery?

It's Corbyn Bashing Season - Must Be An Election On The Horizon
In recent weeks we've seen Jeremy Corbyn denounced as an agent for a Czech spy in the 1980s, and we've seen his stance of advising caution in the wake of the Skripal poisoning attacked, with the BBC depicting him as a Soviet stooge on Newsnight with a conveniently distorted hat and a red hue to his image against the background of the Kremlin. Just this weekend alone we've seen Owen Smith whinge about being sacked from the cabinet because of his views on the EU do not correspond with the leadership, and now we've got the old cries of anti-Semitism ringing out again. Why, anyone would think there's an election on the horizon. Oh there is!
Let's take these attacks individually shall we? The first, the Czech spy scandal held no weight whatsoever, and resulted in the odious Pub Landlord lookalike Tory MP Ben Bradley being forced to publically apologise and cough up for a slanderous tweet defaming Corbyn when he swallowed the rumour hook, like and sinker.
No matter how much they spin it, the oh so impartial BBC did mock up a graphic to make Corbyn look rather Soviet in an edition of Newsnight. OK, they used the same backdrop for Tory MP Gavin Williamson (he of the intelligent 'Russia should go away and shut up' comment) but, as Channel 4 News' FactCheck points out, unlike with Corbyn, they didn't shade Williamson's image in a deep red and the hat was distorted and made to look taller thanks to the curved screen.
Now onto Owen Smith. This Blairite is happy to spin the lie that Labour's stance on Brexit is as clear as mud when in reality it is absolutely crystal clear. Jeremy Corbyn has adopted a compromise position, one which respects the EU vote but remains adamant that the final deal must pass Keir Starmer's six tests. Put simply, if the Tories negotiation proves disastrous (as it almost certainly will) Labour will oppose it.
Let's not forget that Labour sought to defeat the hard right Brexit-mongers who wanted to rip up workers rights, food standards and consumer protection by adding amendments to the EU Withdrawal Bill. They were left with no option but to vote against said Bill because the Tories refused to comply with these amendments. Weirdly, this vote has seen them dismissed by many in the press as colluding with the Tory government?!
Smith refused to agree with Starmer's six tests and official Labour policy and wanted to push his own bespoke Brexit policy. Why? Did he do this because he genuinely wants a second EU referendum as he claims or has he broke ranks to create as much confusion, furore and mud slinging as possible? My guess is the latter. And it's funny how we now live in a world where a strong leadership display from Corbyn is criticised whilst Theresa May's outright refusal to keep order amongst her own ministers, including Boris Johnson's outright dangerous lies, is somehow seen as exemplary.
Much like Smith's disastrous, laughable and lamentable leadership challenge, his bid to put a spoke in the wheel of his own party clearly hasn't worked as well as he and his fellow plotters had hoped. Which is why we are now seeing the anti-Semitic stuff rearing its ugly head again, with John Mann (of course) making ominous and damaging statements from within the party that Labour is set to be destroyed over this issue.
It's worth noting that this time around the anti-Semitic slur isn't being laid at Corbyn's door. This is because they cannot make this mud stick against him personally. It's very hard to call someone a racist when they have a long history of fighting racism, when they hold the Sean MacBride Peace Award, and when, as Benjamin Zephaniah pointed out on Question Time the last time this was in the news, Corbyn shared a police cell with him once for standing up to the racist Apartheid!
So no, this time around they're claiming that the Labour Party is riddled with an ingrained culture of anti-Semitism, and that Corbyn's crime is to not act quickly enough to stamp it out and to allow these people to get too close to him. Inevitably, many of these critics are pointing to Momentum arguing that the predominantly young, left wing intake that grass roots movement has brought about are pro-Palestine - views that Corbyn himself shares and has never made secret of. And this is the rub for me; to be pro-Palestine, to be anti-Israel, does not mean in any way that you hate the Jewish people. It is not anti-Semetic to disagree with Israel politics.
All this is to try and dissuade voters from supporting Labour in May because the establishment are running scared of further gains for Corbyn's party.
Once again, don't believe the lies and smears of the Tories, the Blairites and their propaganda arm within the MSM. Dig deeper, question what you're told and make your own mind up.

They Said It Couldn't Be Done
The MSM and the backstabbing Blairites said that if Labour moved to the left, they'd be over and done with as a credible party.
They said that Corbyn was out of date and that he'd never engage this country with his politics.
They said it couldn't be done.
Comrades, they were wrong.
I've had about three hours sleep, but my optimism is unshakeable. Optimism is a weapon.
But hear are the facts; Corbyn has done more to increase his parties majority since Attlee in '45.
Grassroots activism has won out over the tired, arrogant Westminster bubble. People heard the nasty smears, the lies and propaganda of the MSM and they told them were to shove it. Murdoch stormed out of The Times after hearing that exit poll - his bitter grip on UK politics is finally slipping. The Blairites are already trying to grab some of the sheen of Corbyn's campaign for themselves, claiming that this result is down to the efficiency of the Labour party machine and that they were always left wing, that it's the media who have moved the goalposts; it's a laughably desperate, pitiful act of yesterday's men who have had their day. The truth is that the youth of this country heard what Jeremy Corbyn had to say and replied with 'that is the future we want for ourselves. That is the country we want to live in' Each and every one of them, each and every one of you who voted Labour yesterday, are utterly beautiful and I thank you from the very bottom of my heart.
Solidarity comrades and take heart; change is going to come tomorrow. This morning is uncertain, but what is 100% certain is that even if Theresa May manages to form a government, her massive gamble, her hubris and arrogance failed, and her party is severely wounded as a result.
Everything they said couldn't be done has been done. June really is the end of May. The day of the Mayfly is over.

What I Did Today
And if you didn't and the other lot stay in, then you can fuck the fuck off because you're the one who has pressed self destruct for society with that little 'x' you put alongside a Tory twat.
But if you haven't voted yet, then please hurry up and do so. Polling stations are open until 10pm - and vote Labour!

Theresa May and the Alleged Saudi Funding of UK Terrorist Cells
It's bad enough that Theresa May is so hypocritical that she is spouting crap about getting tougher on the question of extremism - as if she wasn't in a position to do this these past SEVEN YEARS as Home Sec and now PM.
It's bad enough that at the weekend, at a time when electioneering was supposed to be called off as a mark of respect, Boris Johnson tweeted that 'Corbyn will never protect us from our enemies' - again, we've had two terrorist attacks in a fortnight, and one in March; all under the Conservative government's watch. That's the same Tory government that slashed police budgets, made several thousand officers redundant and dismissed senior police chiefs concerns of vulnerability in the face of potential terrorist attacks as 'scaremongering'
It's bad enough that the supposedly impartial BBC and their political editor Laura Kuenssberg deliberately misinterpreted Jeremy Corbyn's stance on Shoot to Kill in a report after the Paris attacks in an attempt to make him appear weak on security and terrorism.
It's bad enough that the media are continuing with the appalling state sponsored black propaganda against Corbyn regarding his peace seeking activities in Northern Ireland - activities that won him the Gandhi Foundation's Peace Award in 2013.
But what's really bad, what needs pushing the most right now is just what does Theresa May know about the Saudi Arabia's links with the terrorism we're currently witnessing on these shores.
Because right now there's a report the government are sitting on that explains just what they know, but they refuse to release it deeming its contents as 'sensitive'
Yes, it would be very sensitive right now just days before a General Election and just days after the second terrorist attack in as many weeks.
They don't want us to know because it will damage their reputation, their election campaign and their chance at staying in government.
You can read more about this despicable Tory-skin saving cover up here at the independent news blog AAV and at the Guardian, the Independent and Newsweek.
You can read the Foreign Affairs Select Committee report that states Britain are supplying Saudi with arms to commit war crimes in the Yemen. And feel your spine chill at Boris Johnson's claim that 'if we don't, someone else will' - as if that justifies such mercenary acts?!
Saudi Arabia fund terrorism. How can Theresa May justify the arms trade with them?
Why was Manchester's attacker Salman Abedi allowed to enter the UK despite the US warning he planned an attack and his time spent in Libya and Syria? John Pilger asks what did Theresa May actually know of Abedi?
Why are supposedly impartial news outlets such as the BBC refusing to address this story? Why are daily newspapers not pushing this to the front page?
Philip May, Theresa'a hubby, was wheeled out for that natural hotbed of political discourse, The One Show, recently in a bid to appear domestic and human. But what does his work at the Capital Group and his links through his role there with princes Adel al-Jubeir and Muhammed bin Nayef tell us? Especially given that these two people are alleged to fund ISIS in the report. Is it any wonder the Tories are sitting on this?
Don't believe the lies of Theresa May and her cronies. They have not kept us safe. They will not keep us safe. Their only interest is in monetary gain, not people.
Vote Labour this Thursday. This is our chance, don't squander it.
Vote Labour to Help our Police Do Their Job
When PC Paul Taylor was captured on camera linking arms with young fans and dancing, it was the most heartwarming moment of last night's One Love Manchester.
It reminded us that these officers protect us from harm and comfort us through the bad and the good. But they can only do that if they are given the budget to do so. There are calls today for Theresa May to resign because she has made our country vulnerable and because, when told she was putting our country in danger from terrorism by the police, she dismissed such concerns as 'scaremongering. Theresa May needs to learn that cuts have consequences, and she must pay the price for having blood on her hands. Three are plenty of petitions calling for her resignation, including this one which I ask you to sign. But there's one other thing you can do that will certainly take May from office - and that is to vote Labour on Thursday. Only Labour will keep our country safe and give the police the tools to do the job.
And while we are at it, let's give Ariana Grande the keys to Manchester for her achievement last night.

Tory Junk Mail - And What To Do With It
In the run up to the election on Thursday you've probably found yourself inundated with propaganda from parties you loathe. No doubt you feel the best place for this literature is the bin.
But wait!
There's something much better you can do with them.
This morning some glossy leaflet from the Tories plopped through my letterbox and, just like you, my natural instinct was to tear it up and bin it. But then I remembered something...
You can actually post their crap back to them - and it doesn't cost you a penny, in fact (and this is the best bit) it actually costs them!
Just return your unwanted propaganda to Chairman May's freepost address above. If you can't read my handwriting it's;

And why not be a bit creative with their lies while you're at it - that's what I did, as you can see here

London
Whenever these horrific atrocities happen I feel lost for words. That they happen so frequently leaves me further dumbstruck. I sat and watched the rolling news come through last night and the early hours feeling so numb. I haven't the words again today; all I have is thoughts and those thoughts are with the families of the victims and those people injured and receiving treatment as I type.
I do think it's right that election campaigning should continue as soon as possible. I know it's not a popular view, but these murderers (and that's exactly what they are, I think we do them a favour sometimes in calling them terrorists, like it legitimises or makes sense of their cause and actions somehow) want to destroy democracy and we simply cannot allow that to happen.

Out On Blue Six : Captain SKA
The only position I want Theresa May to reach is number one in the charts. Download this track, it's brilliant! Let's get it to number one and raise some money for foodbanks and the peoples assembly against austerity, as all proceeds from the download will go to them.

Every Picture Tells a Story...
...Although that story is not always the one the storytellers who have a vested interest in the Tories winning the election want to tell properly.
Take this picture for example. It's a photograph that is certainly doing the rounds now that The S*n and various other Tory papers want to push the idea that Jeremy Corbyn sympathised with and supported the IRA.
Now, seeing that photo alongside the words 'Corbyn' and 'IRA' does seem pretty damning doesn't it?
But let's look at the facts here. Because, if you are to damn Corbyn for this, then you must damn the people in the following pictures too
Strange that.

But let's look at the facts here. Because, if you are to damn Corbyn for this, then you must damn the people in the following pictures too
Because that Corbyn and Adams photograph was taken, just like the photos of Adams with Blair and with Prince Charles, AFTER the ceasefire.
You see, what The S*n etc do is very clever; they source a photo of both men looking quite young and implicitly use that to suggest to their readers the picture is damning evidence that it must have been taken during The Troubles. It wasn't; it was taken in 1995, after the ceasefire and the Downing Street declaration. Hell, it was taken in the House of Commons!
Are these facts reported? No.
I'm not disputing that Corbyn met with Adams whilst The Troubles were ongoing either. Corbyn has always said that to achieve peace you must negotiate and enter into a dialogue with the other side, and it is through that relationship that Corbyn played a special part in achieving peace, having worked alongside Mo Mowlam in the run up to the Good Friday agreement.
But The S*n are now claiming that Jeremy Corbyn did no such thing. Indeed, they've even spoken with terrorists who claim never to have seen him involved in any such talk or perform any such work. One of these is Sean O'Callaghan. But what The S*n refuse to report is that O'Callaghan was a double agent for the British security services who was paid handsomely to report on the activities of the IRA. It's clear he's being paid handsomely now too, to discredit Jeremy Corbyn for the establishment with his lies.
Let's use the old prosecution lawyer argument here, are we really supposed to take the word of a self confessed liar and criminal over the word of a respectable man who has held the honourable position of a Member of Parliament for over thirty years?
It's also worth remembering that Gerry Adams has always maintained he was never a member of the IRA, and has never conclusively been proven otherwise. He is a member of Sinn Fein, and there is a difference - so that's another lie in the message of Corbyn and the IRA.
Lastly, this photo doesn't do the rounds much these days does it?

The Tories Can't Keep Us Safe From Terrorism: The Warning from Manchester Police to Theresa May
Damien O'Rielly, an award winning Community Police Support Officer, has appealed to Theresa May to reverse cuts to local policing that has left our streets vulnerable to attack, saying "there's no proactive policing" in Manchester, only "reactive"
We currently have soldiers on our streets because there simply aren't enough police officers available in the wake of the Manchester attack this week. Intelligence to the force has dried up as a result of cuts to local policing. This is the stark and painful truth of the Tory party's austerity measures. And yet, during her time as Home Secretary, Theresa May accused senior police chiefs of 'scaremongering' when they warned her that cuts would see a rise in crime and terrorism.
We need to send a clear message to Theresa May and the government that we will not stand by and let people die as a result of their foolish policies. Jeremy Corbyn has always pledged to reinstate an effective police budget and recruit more police officers to the force as well as end the trade links to Saudi and Qatar which ISIS benefit from and turn against us. Labour's fully costed Manifesto shows that an anti-austerity budget is possible. Things needn't be like this.
Please, spread the word. Vote Labour on June 8th for a safer UK.

Corbyn and The IRA: The Tories Mud Slinging Avoids The Truth
"I condemn all the bombing by both loyalists and the IRA"
That's what Jeremy Corbyn said to Sophy Ridge on Sky News yesterday. He also said;
"You condemn the violence of those who laid bombs that killed large numbers of people as I do"
So how come Sky News headline was Corbyn Refuses to Condemn IRA - even though the article quotes those comments?
How come Andrew 'Brillo Pad' Neill at the Bias Broadcasting Corporation and those jokes at The Daily Fail are all reporting this outright lie?
Because the Tories are running scared.
They know now that Labour is performing well in the polls and reaching out to people with their manifesto and positive message about ending austerity and governing for the many, not the few.
How much more does Jeremy Corbyn need to say to lay this IRA ghost to rest?
Well, let's wonder what Tory councillor Maria Gatland said to lay her own links to the IRA to rest, shall we? Because in the 1970s Gatland went on an arms buying mission to Zurich, Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris in an attempt to smuggle guns for the IRA to use on military and civilian targets. She has even said; "I agreed with the shooting of British soldiers and believed the more who were killed the better"
Let's wonder what unelected Tory peer David James said to receive forgiveness from the party over his laundering of IRA money?
The truth is that Jeremy Corbyn openly negotiated with Sinn Fein (not the IRA) for a peaceful settlement, and he did so when Margaret ''we do not negotiate with terrorists'' Thatcher was doing it in secret, just as her predecessor Edward Heath had, and long before Corbyn's leader Tony Blair did in the spotlight.
If Corbyn's actions are unforgiveable and worthy of our contempt - despite his repeated public condemnations of terrorism - then why are actual Tory party councillors and peers given a free pass for their genuine terrorist sympathising actions?
This is nothing more than the press indulging in a spot of Tory authorised mud slinging.
