The Language of Boris Johnson

I feel compelled to write this post about the language our alleged Prime Minister Boris Johnson uses to deride his male rivals speak volumes.

Whilst the term 'surrender bill' has rightly been condemned, I'm sorry to see that some of his other choices have been overlooked. In the last week alone Johnson has chosen to call the leader of the opposition, Jeremy Corbyn, a 'big girl's blouse' in the Commons, whilst a leaked, handwritten note referred to former PM David Cameron as a 'girly swot'.

What does this language tell us? Well, it tells us exactly how little respect the twice-married, serial adulterer has for women. For these terms reveal to us that Johnson believes women are pretty poor and inferior beings. Worse, he believes that the patriarchal society he helps to prop up believes this to be the case too.

Can the 32 million women who make up half of the UK's population prove him wrong by voting anyone but Conservative come the next election? I hope so. This sexist, overgrown schoolboy bully needs to learn a lesson. He needs to learn that words have repercussions.

So Are You An Anti-Semite, a Misogynist or Just Someone Who Wants The Truth?

Yesterday I spoke about a petition on 38 Degrees which was asking for the sacking of the BBC's first female political editor Laura Kuenssberg on account of political bias, but 38 Degrees removed the petition on account of several offensive and sexist comments being made in relation to Ms. Kuenssberg which they, quite rightly, would not tolerate.

In the wake of this news, David Cameron took a moment to stop slagging off the governments of other countries at Buck House to condemn the 'sexist bullies' attacking Kuenssberg, whilst it was suggested that the claims of bias were invented by dissatisfied members of the left, Corbynites and members of Momentum, who clearly have worrying misogynistic mindset regarding a female political editor. Claims of misogyny are damaging enough at the best of times, but this really is quite a body blow to the left in the wake of the Livingstone/Shah anti-semite row and the suggestion that such a negative view of Judaism and Israel is rife within the pro-Corbyn camp.

Author, former Ambassador and human rights activist Craig Murray (he of Murder In Samarkand fame) has been following this story in great detail and discusses it on his site, where he has managed to get hold of a data link which shows us all the comments left by those who signed this petition. You can read it all here

Given that no real sewer of misogynistic abuse can be found on the now published data link (other than two instances of her being called a 'witch' and one which suggests she has a thing with Cameron - they're the ones I've spotted anyway) 38 Degrees have claimed (backtracked, rather) that the abuse was done on social media in relation to the petition, rather than on the petition itself. But, as you can see from Murray's excellent site, he has so far found one tweet that is misogynistic towards Laura Kuenssberg, and that tweet comes from someone who is clearly, most emphatically not a Corbynite.

So, what's really going on here?

Well it seems to me that 35,000 good people concerned by the political bias at the heart of a public broadcaster have been grossly and unfairly tarred with the misogynist brush. Just like the anti-semite row, it appears you cannot criticise anything without being labelled something even worse. Why just yesterday I was told anyone wanting to support a petition against the BBC would be doing John Whittingdale's dirty work for him.

But what's more worrying is the fact that 38 Degrees, a not-for-profit political activism organisation for the people, has clearly been told to remove this petition at all costs. They've effectively been spun and in turn are now spinning a blatant lie regarding misogyny, simply because it benefits those who wish to discredit the left and Jeremy Corbyn - the Tories, and those Blairites still within the Labour Party - to keep political bias at the BBC.

Such is democracy eh?

Fighting Back : Petitions to sign

Racism and anti-semitism in politics have figured large in this week's news in the wake of the Naz Shah/Ken Livingstone incidents last week. But it goes deeper than that doesn't it and these petitions certainly believe so

Whilst the Tories attempt to capitalise on the media shitstorm they have helped create against Labour ahead of this week's election, it's curious that they've turned a blind eye to their own racism. Boris Johnson called Obama 'half-Kenyan' and called into question his position regarding the EU based on his ancestry. This is nothing but disgusting, colonial racism. Sign this petition to get Boris suspended from the Tories. I'm surprised Cameron hasn't done this to be honest, it would remove his one true rival quite easily and pave the way to a remain vote.

Whatever your view on Ken Livinstone, and I've made mine known about the foot-in-mouth idiot, why has John Mann not been investigated for bringing the party into disrepute at such a crucial time? This petition at least asks for disciplinary procedure against what many have seen to be an extremely public, unprofessional and opportunistic stunt before the TV cameras. If you want his motives for doing so investigated, that's the petition for you.

Anti-Semitism? Don't Fall For Tory Smears

It's incredulous that, in a week where we have discussed how manipulative the media is regarding the desires of the establishment and the government of the day, the nation seems to have fallen for it again.

Ken Livingstone was, is and always will be a prat. Don't get me wrong, he has many great qualities, but he remains a frustrating politician; an arrogant, obnoxious soul and someone who always runs off at the mouth and remains unrepentant. But there's no denying that, beneath his inane and offensive comments and attitude, he actually had a point when he said that being critical of the policies of another nation is not anti-semitic. Saying something is wrong does not make you prejudiced.

Unfortunately, because the local elections loom on the horizon, the Tories know they need to get the electorate to conveniently forget things that might see them suffer badly at the polls. Stuff like Cameron's tax issues, the EU question and the internal wranglings within their own party, John Whittingdale getting a free pass from the press he is supposed to regulate for his relationship with a dominatrix sex worker, the junior doctors strike and the NHS being run into the ground, and the people responsible for the Hillsborough cover up (a clue; it was the Tory government of the 1980s and 90s and subsequently the inactivity of the New Labour government of the late 90s onwards) So to do this, they create a mountain out of a molehill with compliant media outlets andalongside the Blairite Red Tories within the Labour party to suggest a crisis within Corbyn's cabinet that frankly doesn't exist. These Blairites really don't care about destroying the reputation of the party they purport to serve because frankly it suits them to see Corbyn sullied. If he performs poorly the local elections it just proves their complaint that left wing politics are no longer valid and will only hasten a return back to the bland and inoffensive centreground of politics. The words of Nye Bevan - "we know what happens to those who stay in the middle of the road. They get run down" - mean nothing to a generation weaned on the empty platitudes and low morals of New Labour and they simply want their ball back and to play by their own shoddy rules once more.

Corbyn has denied there being a crisis because there simply is no crisis. It's a shame he cannot just say that Livingstone is a bit of a prat whose got some considerable past form, that Naz Shah said a deeply irresponsible and hurtful thing online several years ago and has faced the severest punishment in her suspension from the party, and that this is actually yet another example of a media marionette show, from the same biased machine who gave us the lies of Hillsborough. They're just drawing the heat off themselves to save their own skin and preserve their positions of power.

To win an election you have to discredit the opposition and you use every available resource in your powerful armoury to do so. The Tories excel in this and they're doing it now. They're doing it to us again.

Don't let them. Go to the polls knowing full well these people want you to forget their sleaze, their cons, their mistakes and their lies and focus on the authorised, approved story they're floating now - that Labour is an anti-semitic party. It is not, never has been and never will be.

And again, criticising Israel does not make you anti-semitic. Please take the time to read what Jewish people actually think about this whole affair.

Dennis Skinner Sticks It To Dodgy Dave

Good old Dennis Skinner, refusing to be cowed by the arcane 'rules' of The House and saying what the people actually think - that our Prime Minister is dodgy

That is true representation of the people. The people are angry that once again these Tory bastards have shown that they believe themselves above the law. Boo hoo hoo Dave, if you are 'hurt' on your dead dad's behalf. No one is disputing he wasn't a good father or he didn't work hard...but what he didn't do was pay his taxes - and that's exactly what every other hardworking good father does in this country and what you expect them to do. It cannot be one rule for you and a different one for the rest of us, and so Dennis Skinner pointing that out and earning (in his own words) 'an early bath' can only be a good thing and a thing for us to celebrate. With anger rising in society, it stands to reason that we have some heated moments in The House. It shows that there are still some MP's who care enough to give us a voice inside those cloistered walls!

Please sign this petition asking for Dodgy Dave to resign. It won't happen we know, but it's a way of making it absolutely clear that this behaviour will not be accepted by us any longer. We must stop rolling over and letting these Tory bastards fuck us up the arse.

In light of the Panama Papers coming to light this week, Change.org has become flooded with petitions demanding Cameron resign and the government is given a vote of no confidence. I urge you all to sign as many as possible, but these ones in particular are gaining good traction so I have decided to share them here. So, please, sign here and here

ETA: As per Michael's comment below there's also this one from 38 degrees that has a mighty total so far. Please sign here

Fighting Back : Petitions to Sign

In a week which saw the horrendous terrorist attacks on Belgium and the UK on high alert it might surprise you to learn (if you're not a cynical so-and-so like me) that our Prime Minister is on holiday in Lanzarote. So hey, if we all die at least he'll be spared.

These two petitions are hilarious - they're asking that he banned from re-entering the UK. Sign here and here

On a more serious note, 14 year old Christine Mustapha has shown she has more maturity and respect than our chancellor by asking that he apologise for his laughing at the disabled and checking Michael Gove's phone in the House last week. Disgraceful behaviour that should bot go unpunished.

Lots of anger at Osborne actually, with many petitions demanding his resignation. Sign here, here, here and here

IDS resigning was probably the best news to come from the Tory party since Thatcher's death, but we need to remember that resignation is not justice - IDS has blood on his hands

This petition calls for Labour to table a vote of no confidence in the Tory government, a sentiment shared by Disabled UK in the light of their horrendous abhorrent policies against the weak and vulnerable with this petition here

And why should we have confidence when MP's are repeatedly shown to be fast asleep whilst 'at work' ? Sign here to get these dozing MP's fined

This asks that the reassessment of young people with lifelong disabilities from DLA to PIP be stopped

A petition calling for three hours feminist education to be introduced to the school curriculum annually. Sign here

Whilst this petition demands that a teacher who used the N word to a black pupil be dismissed.

This calls for the protection of disabled people at work

Fighting Back : Petitions to Sign

Naturally, today's post is focusing on the atrocities this government has announced just this past fortnight - namely the cuts to disabled benefit and the privatisation of our education system. We need to fight, we need to stop these things from happening!

Sign here to stop the privatisation, along with this one here. Whilst this petition requests Nicky Morgan works a week as a teaching assistant in a comprehensive.

This petition calls for Cameron to reverse the cuts made to the most disadvantaged in our society, namely the disabled. Whilst this one requests that Cameron and IDS are removed from their positions as patrons of motability on the grounds of it now being sheer hypocrisy to allow them to continue.

Sign here to demand IDS's suspension from the cabinet on the grounds of psychological impairment - because if he isn't wilfully lying then he really must be deluded! Whilst signing here asks that George Osborne be reclassified as a 'non human entity with no soul'.

This petition calls for fewer cuts and a more concise explanation as to the state we are in in terms of debt. Lastly, this petition requests that the Labour Party form a combined and united national response to these austerity measures, allowing Labour councils and trade unions to actively oppose the cuts.

Say no the the proposed Tory cuts to in-work support.

David Cameron wants to cut Universal Credit - an action which will leave two million working families £1,600 worse off per year on average.

Fighting Back : Petitions to Sign

Cameron and his Tory cronies think they can get away with the tax dodging deal they've secured with Google. They're paying just 3%, a pittance in tax, and Cameron is hoping he can ride out the media storm by pulling his usual trick; comparing his efforts with that of a government last in power 6 years ago.

We can change this.

It's not just Corbyn who want to take Cameron to task over this insulting deal. It's also the European Commission. The woman in charge of big business has said she would investigate the deal with Google and overrule them - but only if someone complains.

Sign this petition and kick-start this much needed investigation.

"A Bunch of Migrants" - Cameron's True Colours

I like to think I'm rather cynical and don't expect anything from the government that unfortunately run my country, but even my jaw dropped this afternoon watching the PMQ feed in which David Cameron (the cunt) lambasted Jeremy Corbyn for visiting Calais and meeting with "a bunch of migrants"

This kind of comment I expect from Farage and UKIP - but seriously, our PM?

Firstly, Cameron, they're refugees fleeing their country. Secondly they're far more than a "bunch" - not a "swarm", may I remind you - but a number representative of the very real crisis that is occurring on the global stage - a crisis you claimed was so important when seeking the agreement to bomb Syria before Christmas, so why trivialise it now? And thirdly, to say something so flippantly offensive on Holocaust Memorial Day just about sums up your blatant, shameful ignorance and callous disregard for the suffering of others.

I've watched the news since with interest and at first, little was said about it at all. The BBC - a left wing bastion, as many right wingers would have you believe, but frankly the most collaborative impartial broadcaster since Orwell's 1984 - preferred to focus on the cut and thrust of the debate regarding Google's ridiculous 3% tax deal; Corbyn and the European Parliament think it nowhere near enough, but the BBC preferred to ignore the objections of the European Parliament and spin the story as another example of Corbyn struggling to take the PM to task, whilst Cameron defended his deal and verbally beat the Labour leader. The comment was just part of a very brisk news package - shown, but not commented upon.

When the BBC touched upon the slur in this evening's news, their political correspondent suggested that the Tories have defended their leader's comment arguing that this was just the kind of language he used when his dander is up in the House. Oh, so that's OK then is it? If he turned around and directed a racially offensive comment at Diane Abbot or Chuka Ummuna during such a debate, we're supposed to forgive him because he's just 'pumped up'?

Cameron's comment came in a rant that suggested Corbyn would never stand up for the British people. Tell me, Dave, exactly how is proposing to slash £30 of benefit from the very poorest and sickest of our nation is an example of you standing up for them?

Now more than ever is it clear that Cameron and his cronies do not give two hoots about anyone other than themselves. The whole world can go to hell in a handcart and he would barely bat an eye - after all, this is a man whose wife, appearing on The Great British Bake Off tonight, freely admitted he told her he was nervous for her 'showstopper bake'. Nice to know the most important man in the UK has his full and undivided attention where it matters eh?

There Is Nothing Like A Dame

The New Years Honours List has been announced and it sees two veteran actresses accept a damehood; Barbara Windsor and Siân Phillips

Dame Siân Phillips is said to be 'overwhelmed' by the honour and the 82 year old former Mrs Peter O'Toole shows no signs of stopping; having appeared in the evergreen Radio 4 soap The Archers for their Calendar Girls production storyline this Christmas and touring The Importance of Being Earnest.

78 year old Dame Barbara Windsor, awarded for her services to entertainment and for her charity work, has sais she is 'proud and extremely humbled'

Also receiving awards are actors James Nesbitt and Idris Elba, who each receive the OBE, screenwriter Peter Morgan who gets a CBE, along with Falklands veteran Simon Weston, and England Lionesses Steph Houghton and Fara Williams gain an MBE.

In less good news, David Cameron (the cunt) has awarded all his Tory cronies and donors to the party gongs too. Almost 30 Tory party members or supporters are named, including a knighthood for the Australian political strategist Lynton Crosby - the man who masterminded the Tory election campaign, proving the old school tie is alive and well. These are awards not for what you do for the country, but for what you do to place your pals in privileged positions of power in the country. It stinks.

Gimme Shelter

It's funny how so much of this war seems to be less about bringing the terror in Syria to a close and more about Cameron's administration keeping Britain in a respectable position on the global stage - yet when it comes to what's happening at, and how he's viewed at home, what his people are going though, he couldn't give a stuff. It's all about impressing the neighbours and sitting at their big table.

Sympathies....

So Nicky Morgan MP has just said that Cameron shouldn't have to apologise for his 'terrorist sympathiser' comment on Question Time, arguing that Jeremy Corbyn and John McDonnell are, in her view, terrorist sympathisers. Why? Because there are photos of them shaking hands with Gerry Adams.

Um, OK. So what does that make Tony Blair then?

Or The Queen?

Or Nelson Mandela?

Then again, Cameron et al believed Mandela to be a terrorist who should be executed in the 1980s, so maybe that last one speaks volumes to the likes of Nicky Morgan?

Terrorists and freedom fighters are both interchangeable terms and times and allegiances change. Let's not forget that America financed and trained most of the terrorists and despots they later had to do battle with.

I'm not denying that the IRA is a terrorist organisation and that their crimes perpetrated in the name of a united Ireland are utterly horrific and inexcusable, but the blinkered, prejudiced mindset of the Tories right now and their combined desire with the media to discredit the Labour party is utterly ridiculous, dangerous and disgusting - doubly so, when one considers the global crisis we are now currently committed in and the destruction of the welfare system, the NHS etc that is occurring at home.

Sticks and Stones...and Bombs

I find it quite interesting how much attention the media, specifically the BBC, have given the reports today that a series of Labour MP's who voted in favour of airstrikes in Syria last night have received abusive messages primarily on social media.

Interesting because it's clear they want to make a much bigger deal about a few anonymous PC warriors calling these people 'war mongers' with 'blood on their hands' than they have done about David Cameron, the Prime Minister, calling anyone who would vote against his proposal, 'terrorist sympathisers'

Why are they doing this?

Because the underhand Blairite agenda is to make allegations against Jeremy Corbyn and his leadership in an effort to topple him, and the biased BBC are happy to perpetuate the myth that these abusive tweets are coming from within the party and specifically Momentum which BBC news today rather murkily referred to as a ''Pro-Corbyn organisation''. What does that even mean? Surely the entire Labour Party should be pro it's leader? Well, clearly it's not and that's because there are elements within who refuse to acknowledge the democratic process and will of the electorate who voted Corbyn into power with a majority.

They don't want to listen to the people, but through their manipulation of the media, it is clear they want the people to listen to them.

For what it's worth Momentum (and yes, I am a member) is a campaign to promote real progressive change in politics at a grass roots level. I see no reason why anyone who really, truly wishes for this would want to slander the names of Labour MP's who make a difference every single day to their constituents but whose opinions on the current crisis in Syria radically differ from theirs. I don't believe these MP's are 'war mongers' (though I do have to point out that the rather unsettling whooping and applauding within the House once the vote came in would give people cause to wonder about their motivations in that respect) and I certainly would not, were I a social media user, take to their Twitter page to call them that any more than I would believe anyone who voted against was a terrorist sympathiser. We all have different reasons and beliefs for taking the stance we have done this week. Who knows, maybe some MP's were cowed into voting yes because they didn't want to be branded a terrorist sympathiser by the government?

At every step of the way Jeremy Corbyn has made it utterly plain that his kind of politics is straight and honest, and that it is both extremely civil and respectful. This is the exact opposite in fact of his own rivals within the party, who are keen to draw a spurious link between him and those people who have attacked MP's who voted yes online. This element within the party believe in a kind of politics that is not straight, that is not honest, and they are not civil and they are not respectful. They are selfish, power hungry, set in their ways individuals who have lost sight of socialism and, on seeing that Corbyn's Labour party is no place for them, they intend to forcibly make it a place for themselves once more.

And all the while, Cameron and the Tories remain off the hook.

After Cameron's disgusting attack on everyone who doesn't share his opinion, several petitions have understandably begun demanding his apology and his resignation.

Please sign the following; here and here. Please be aware that there are several more to sign along the same criteria, along with others regarding the current crisis. This link will, I hope, take you to the most recent petitions I have signed. Please tell me if it does not!

Hi, My Name's Mark, and I'm a Terrorist Sympathiser

At least I am according to this cunt today

Yes, regardless of your politics, if you don't agree with the PM's proposed air strikes in Syria then you're a terrorist sympathiser.

Hmm, tell that to the soldiers who have already fought in campaigns in Iraq and Afghan and are expressing concerns about just what an airstrike will achieve? They've risked life and limb fighting the Taliban, Dave - are they really terrorist sympathisers?

Of course this is just another attempt at political point scoring against his rival, Jeremy Corbyn, perpetuating the myth that Corbyn believes it was a shame that Bin Laden was assassinated by US Special Forces whilst resolutely and conveniently ignoring the second part of that statement, which was that Corbyn believed he should have faced trial for his crimes.

Is this really the time for political point scoring? Really? The Tory party seem to think so - always happy to trivialise an issue, even when lives are at stake.

Oh well, do I care to be the recipient of such slander? Not really. To be honest, if a Tory thinks well of me, I'd be deeply worried. As Billy Bragg once sang "If you've got a blacklist I wanna be on it" And, in a week when I thought the most despicable British citizen on the planet was Lady sodding C on I'm a Celebrity, it's good to see Cameron remind us all that he is the number one twunt around here.

The Creeping Blairite Revival and Some Thoughts on Syria

Look at that image - sickening isn't it?

The only time I want to see Blair sans tie now is shortly after his arrest for war crimes, when a custody sergeant instructs its removal because he fears he'll use it as a makeshift noose in his cell during the long dark night of his poisonous duplicitous soul.

The joker on the left really is a joker too. It's Matt Forde, former Blair office boy, now stand up 'comedian' whose sweaty porcine fart features are currently pissing me off on Question Time as he dismisses the party he worked for, but has now left, as 'the loony left' with ineffectual aims and leadership, despite helping pressurise Osborne into a complete and utter U turn this week.

I hate this creeping revival of the Blair regime which sees media friendly whores getting a free pass at TV airtime to wax wistfully about 'the good old days' of Blair in the hope that he'll descend upon us once more like some Second Coming.

It's actually insulting to start looking at the Blair years through rose tinted glasses when there is still so much about his dictatorship that remains unresolved and deeply contentious, specifically the fact that we still haven't got a clear verdict on his warmongering.

And war rears its ugly head on Question Time obviously, given the increasingly inevitable step towards air strikes in the vain hope that it may defeat Isil.

It won't defeat Isil.

It's an understandable move to do it. But it's a kneejerk reaction. Cameron himself once said that he was not someone who believed that he could "drop democracy out of an airplane at 40,000 feet" yet he's putting us on course for that right now, making the same mistakes that Blair did. And it's a dangerous course, and that's why Corbyn is arguing that there is no clear strategy. Bombing will only be a crap gesture at foreplay ahead of the inevitable call for 'boots on the ground'. Britain does not have the resources to go to war any longer. Thanks to MOD cuts that Cameron has overseen, our army is now the smallest it has been for centuries.

It will be impossible and fatal to take this path now. You simply don't pick a fight with someone with your hands tied behind your back and that's exactly what this will be.

Worse, we'll inevitably hear that vital funding required for other areas in civilian life, such as the NHS will suffer. It's ridiculous that the NHS is now completely, critically ailing with the finger of blame being pointed at the poor economy when Cameron's government will happily spend 4 billion on the replacement for Trident. The Socialist Labour government of 1945, vowing to never agin endure anything like the war we have just come out of, set up the NHS and it did so when we were a completely bankrupt nation. So what really is Cameron's excuse?

Attlee's government made the commitment to look to our own after the shadow of war. I say that with terror looming over us, we should look to our own once more and focus more on surveillance, policing and prevention within our country.

Murdoch and the media may want a Blairite revival, but they really will be getting the very worst of it if we decide to make the same mistakes that warmonger gleefully led us into.

Younger readers might not be familiar with the proposed military coup against Harold Wilson's government in the early 1970s. You can read about it here or watch the BBC docudrama The Plot Against Harold Wilson (on YouTube) or the Ken Loach film Hidden Agenda for further details.

But readers need to be aware that a similar threat is beginning to arise now regarding Jeremy Corbyn's potential occupancy of Number 10 come 2020. A senior figure in the British army, holding the rank of general, has been alleged to have discussed a 'mutiny' against a Corbyn led government. This is a direct interference in the democratic process from the armed wing of the establishment, undermining any belief that our armed forces are neutral. In short, this general is recommending action often seen in banana republics.

Clearly, Corbyn is considered a threat to the natural order that the privileged upper class rely upon to keep their hides safe and comfy.

Several petitions have cropped up demanding an enquiry into this anonymous general's plans and calling for his dismissal. The political party Left Unity is chief among them with this campaign. But you can also sign Here and Here

It really is A Very British Coup!

Now, did someone say pig?

Yes, now we know why Ed Miliband struggled so with that bacon butty - he knew what had been put in that pig all along!

Of course, it's probably all a nonsense (although, I'd put nothing past those Oxford oiks, especially having seen The Riot Club haha) but don't you just love it when mud sticks? Once again the petitions are coming fast and furious and very, very funny

This one asks for Corbyn to question Cameron on his bestial habits!

Whilst this demands an apology from Cameron for having intercourse with a pig cadaver

This simply asks Corbyn to ensure 'The Swine Minister David Hameron stops fucking livestock'

This one asks for Channel 4 to repeat the very first episode of Charlie Brooker's Black Mirror; which of course featured a fictional PM being forced to fuck a pig live on national television - oh how very prescient!

And lastly, this calls for the BBC to refer to Cameron at all times as 'The pig fucking Prime Minister'
