Fighting Back : Petitions to Sign : Keep Corbyn Special

So The Eagle has landed. Despite her own constituency party in Wallasey voting overwhelmingly in favour of Jeremy Corbyn, Angela Eagle had decided to launch a leadership bid against him, believing she and she alone can unite the party.

She couldn't unite people in a lift.

I am sickened by the way she has dismissed the facts against her, claiming that its a bitter minority of people, banished from the Labour party in the '90s, who are actively against her. Time and time again we are seeing these Blairite MP's (and I know Ms Eagle claims she isn't, but look at her voting record - it's as Blairite as they come, and let's remember she voted for the Tory welfare bill last year too) suggesting that supporters of Corbyn are narrow minded, bitter old and old fashioned reds who are anti-semitic or homophobic.

This is simply not the case.

Firstly, Eagle's acolytes claimed the MP was subjected to homophobic abuse at a recent meeting. The chair of the party in Wallasey appeared on North West Tonight at the weekend to point out that a) no homophobic comments were made and b) Angela Eagle wasn't even present at the meeting!

Jeremy Corbyn has brought an overwhelming number of new young members to the Labour party in a way that the party simply has not done for years. It is Eagle and her fellow Blairites who are out of touch with the grassroots, not Jeremy Corbyn.

So, what can we do?

(Kudos to whoever designed this for Momentum)

Firstly, we need to sign this petition to ensure that Corbyn is automatically placed on the ballot for any future leadership vote. And secondly, we need to play the Blairites at their onw game; they want Corbyn and his 'ilk' deselected. Well, let's argue that they should be deselected for their undemocratic meddling. Staring with Ms Eagle. Sign the petition here which asks that she resign as MP for Wallasey.
