RIP Glenn Frey

Dammit, can people stop dying please? I can't believe it but we've lost Glenn Frey now too.

The Eagles guitarist and co-founder died on Monday at the age of 67 from complications arising from pneumonia, rheumatoid arthritis and colitis.

After nine years and 150million albums sold worldwide making them one of the 1970s most successful bands, The Eagles split in 1980, with Henley famously announcing that they would only reform "when hell freezes over" The subsequent decade or so saw him become a successful solo artist with some stone cold classics such as The Heat Is On for the hit movie Beverley Hills Cop and two of my favourites; Sunset Grill and New York Minute.

In 1994 The Eagles reformed and became a successful touring act.
