Petition The BBC: Show What Is Happening To Our NHS

The following film is an independent documentary that tells the story of what is happening to our NHS, and why.

Experts, medical professional and NHS insiders discuss the reforms made to the institution culminating in the Health and Social Care Act of 2012; a thing medics opposed because it allows the NHS to be sold off to the highest bidder.

Worryingly this is something the majority of people in the country seem totally ignorant of.

You would think that a public service broadcaster would have a responsibility in informing the general public of such current affairs wouldn't you?

Except the BBC have refused to show this.

Please sign this petition here asking the Director General of the BBC to reconsider their stance and broadcast this film on primetime TV as a matter of some urgency.

Nye Bevan once said that "The NHS will last as long as there are folk left with the faith to fight for it" however, in keeping these developments silent, the wholesale destruction of this countries finest achievement is well underway. There's no fight because people who may have the faith are completely oblivious to the potential danger.

The BBC need to remember their public service role. And now.

  1. Signed, though I fear it'll do little good. It doesn't fit with the narrative the establishment (and the BBC is the beating heart of the British establishment) wants to portray.

    1. Me too, but if it makes the average bod who skims their way through or this blog even consider how little the BBC do to deserve their public service remit and open their eyes to the issue with the 2012 act it'll have done some good. Why this issue is routinely avoided by BBC news and current affairs is beyond me, if they won't show the film at least commission their own for Panorama
