As you can see 2014 was largely the year of the biography/autobiography and factual books dominating over my fiction reads. Interestingly, many of the fiction books rate highly with 5/5's such as Mr Wroe's Virgins, Anthem, Field of Blood and White Teeth. Some of the books listed here have been reviewed on these pages under the thread Rapid Reviews.

  1. This is the second book statistics list blog post that I've read today. I do enjoy seeing what everyone else has been reading. ;-)

This coming year I'm trying to challenge myself to read outside my comfort zone (because I've got a habit of picking up old familiar books rather than the alternative) so I've found a reading challenge on a women's site (called Popsugar) with suggestions like 'a book by an author with the same initials as you' and 'a book with over 500 pages'. It'll be interesting to see what 2015 brings in books, and I'm looking forward to reading more of your reviews in the New Year.
