RIP Roger Lloyd-Pack

More sad news, the actor Roger Lloyd-Pack, star of Only Fools and Horses and The Vicar of Dibley to name but two and the father of Emily Lloyd, has passed away aged 69 following a battle with pancreatic cancer.

Of course there was far more to Roger than his two most famous roles; having appeared in on our screens since the 1960s with roles in films such as Hamlet, The Magus, Cuba, The Cook The Thief His Wife And Her Lover, The Naked Civil Servant, 1984, Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Made In Dagenham and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and on TV in the likes of Survivors (both the remake and the original) The Old Guys, Health and Efficiency and 2.4 Children.

Away from showbusiness Roger was quite political, protesting for campaigns he cared passionately about including supporting Ken Livingstone's London Mayoral campaign in 2012, however just last year he withdraw all support for the Labour party in favour of another unspecified and more left wing group.
