Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

Hold on to your tits people, BBC4 - as part of the BBC's excellent, latest Cold War season - are commencing a repeat showing one of the finest adaptations known to man next Tuesday night at 10pm; the original BBC series of Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy

If you haven't seen it (Jeez, what is wrong with you people?!) then do yourself a favour; pour yourself something special, take the phone off the hook, turn the lights down and settle in. Savour every minute of a star studded peerless production.

There's also a chance to see the author John Le Carre interviewed by Mark Lawson, and a documentary on legendary double agent Kim Philby on BBC4 the day before the repeat commences, on Monday.

Now, why on earth have Film 4 decided to broadcast the recent big screen adaptation of Tinker at 9pm that night too? Clash much?
